Here's what's happening:
1:00–5:00 PM – Explore a stunning photo exhibit and film screening by Sophie Fenwick, capturing the beauty and history of NYC's waterfront from the 1990s to today.
2:00–4:00 PM – Enjoy a live musical accompaniment by Leslie Braver as the film comes to life.
2:00–3:00 PM – Meet RETI Center on the waterfront for a hands-on water quality activity and discover the stories, science, and history behind waterfront access in Red Hook and Gowanus.
3:00–7:00 PM – Get out on the water for a FREE community canoe paddle and shoreline cleanup!
Whether you're paddling for the first time, exploring local history, enjoying live music, or simply spending the day by the harbor, there's something for everyone.
Come celebrate, connect with your community, and help care for the waterways that make our neighborhoods unique.
